While the frame was attractive, I was surprised to see that instead of a black mat with 3 openings, the glass itself appears to be glazed or painted with black. I was forced to fashion some cardboard spacers and to cut out my own mat so that the art would not be right up against the glass. I have never seen anything like this before.
