Q:
I have slides in protective sheets (8 1/2" by 11") 20 slides per sheet. Would this light panel be adequate for viewing these slides without removing them individually from the protective sleeve?

The manufacturer stated the slides should be placed onto the unit itself. They cannot guarantee as clear of an image if you use protective sheets over them.
