I bought this scrapbook box for my son who works on the road and is always visiting places along the way, gathering brochures, tickets, etc, that he would like to keep as souvenirs, but with no place to store them. The fact that it's a box means things won't fall out, and the quality is outstanding. I never bought a scrapbook before, and was proud to give him this one. He loves it! Have used this album/book in the past and ordered again because it is an awesome....easy to add thicker materials and love that the box style houses and protects the book and can be tied close.

Pioneer's Scrapbook Box is ideal for my needs when assembling miscellaneous memorabilia along with photos and postcards from a major trip. The 12x12 pages allow interesting and flexible photo layouts with small items (info leaflets, tickets) from places visited. The boxed rear structure is ideal for keeping thin photo/info books about major sites visited plus other items of shape or size not suitable for page mounting. With the ribbon tie for box, most memorabilia for a trip can be kept in one place. This is not true of the standard and open 3-ring photo albums.

I used this album for a heritage album for my daughter. I love the 3 ring feature and have never liked the post bound albums. Plus this one is more formal looking because it actually has a leather-like cover and back, as well as the portion that ties off over all the pages. It looks wonderful and am so glad I found this style!

The 3-ring notebook style is so much easier to use than the traditionally bound scrapbook. You can re-arrange the pages without having to remove them from the plastic sheets. The box offers more support and protection for the pages than a regular album does.
